with some help, of course..
Oh happy day... Finally got the carburetor back on..

Had to attach the tranny kick down.. that was a b&*(%, let me tell you...
Also discovered this new one has a secondary throttle linkage on the off side, and an egr vac port (this engine doesn't seem to have one.. so I capped it off..)

Next, the fine adjustment process..  whee..

I also think the neighbors called animal control about the 'dead dog' in our side yard.. ...
he was just enjoying the sunshine....

and the AC truck rolls slowly past our house.. stopping out front.
Jas, gets up and comes and tells me someone was here...
so I told him to hop in the van, please.. a minute later.. they drove off.

lol

Got my obligatory roof rack for the solar..
Currently treating Miles for Gutter-Rust. Not bad, but preventative measures are needed before I attach the rack to the gutter.
Dremel, Rust-treatment, then a good layer of durable paint. (will also hit a couple little spots on the rest of the body)

And I think I have finally figured out the interior.
Need to get my window visors on..
And start the floor.. (ugh.. more carpet cutting..) But I did find something to do the edge with. Yay- for house to cab transition and side barn doors.

going to try to finish the gutters today, and try to deploy my roof-vent solution.. see how that works..

Obligatory or not, a major milestone. Congrats!

The amount of figuring out time I've done is astonishing...and productive. Sounds like your moving forward nicely!

Roof rack... omg.. don't get me started.. At least this van doesn't require an extension.. roflmao. remember Last time?

Got the gutters cleaned and repainted. Should be good for a few more years. Looks like someone else cleaned them previously, and used some sort of bondo stuff.. so I removed all the bad paint flakeyness and tidied up and used the rust converter on all the spots I could find. (2x) Then used good "real" paint. Gave it a good long weekend to cure in the sun.

Today roof rack install. woooo
And fakin'it seat covers. (Dogs, hair, dirt, cushy upholstered seats... you know..)
