I have always thought that it would be ideal to have a built in duct running from the ceiling to the floor, with a small fan to blow the hot air near the roof at one's feet.

I wonder how it would do with one of these heat powered fans,

no electricity needed. I have one for my wood stove, it works great. the hotter the stove the faster the fan turns. highdesertranger

You could probably set one of those right on the burner and test it
