Been a ST customer for 8 years. Got an email from them last month, stating I could double my data for only $10 more than the $45 5 gig I've been using.

I love it!

Not sure if this is a limited time offer, but I'm having a blast binge watching YouTube vids.

Just passing this along...

I got the offer too. Shoot, I hardly ever get close to my 5G limit. This is the last day of this cycle and I have used 2. Guess I need to watch more YT vids.
My big problem is that my phone is too small for watching much of anything. I use ST, too, but rarely use my phone for anything other than voice or text. When it is necessary to buy a new phone, I'll go for the largest screen I can afford.

I have a ST hotspot that I use with my laptop. I wish they'd offer that 10GB at $55 for the hotspot!! As far as I know, you cannot tether to a ST phone either (which makes sense since they sell hotspots).
A 10G for $55 would be super, but I think we're dreaming.
The hotspot is new to me and still on the first Gig I bought to try it. I use it very sparingly. Most general surfing and forum posts I normalliy do on the phone.
AT&T recently bumped me up in a similar manner, I've been a customer for over 10 years.  Had to call in to cancel my oldest son's phone, he finally was moving all on his own, and the rep just bumped me up to 20G.  I originally had a 10G plan that was similarly bumped to 15, now 20 all same price.  I think these guys are trying to stay competitive.

I know this is from a few months back, but you should really look into casting.   We cast our Moto X Pure ($299 new, unlocked) to a 1080P HD 24" tv in our camper and it is a better looking picture than cable.  Does not violate any TOS.
I use Straight talk $55   10 gig plus I occasionally use wifi.
Works great but US cellular is better if I remember right $40 a month for true unlimited data
