I can't cut and build straight so I use jigs, guides and corner clamps, etc to make sure things are right.
I'll build you a shed for a couple of welded up bumpers that have hitch receivers in them.
I also can't cut a long straight line with a circular saw, but a long straight board used as a straight edge and two good clamps make me look like a freakin expert. There's also the fine cut made in a circular saw crosscut jig which can be made quickly. I gotta have adjustable leg collapsible saw horses so I don't have to work on the ground. The saw horses can do double duty as the supports for an outdoor table. A good blade made for what you are working with -- plywood, crosscut, etc -- makes the cuts look better. Tape on the underside can reduce tearout.
