I am working on a conversion of a Promaster 1500.  I am interested in using materials for the side and ceiling panels that comply with FMVSS 302 the standard for flammability of materials used in the interior of vehicles.  I found one report that lists many common materials (plywood, MDF) as meeting FMVSS 302 but I am not sure I am reading it correctly.  Also, many residential building materials are classified per the residential building standard for flammability of materials - Class I, II, or III.

Does anyone have good suggestions for paneling material that is FMVSS 302 compliant?

Does anyone know the equivalency between FMVSS 302 and Class I, II, or III flammability ratings?

Thanks in advance.
