I don't have any personal experience with this company, but was looking through posts about insulation over at the old forum and found this:

[dead link]

I checked out their website and it turns out they are having a buy-one-get-one-free sale right now that ends today (4/24):

The smallest quantity that you can order is the 4 ft x 50 ft roll:

Which with the buy one get one free deal gives you 100 feet. With shipping that comes out to about $155 (~$1.50/foot). Way more material than I am going to need for my Toyota Previa but figured I would share the link. I wouldn't mind teaming up on an order though...
Oops, I did a little more digging on this stuff. That high R-value is actually quite misleading, as Willy pointed out a while back:

Anyway I imagine this material would be suitable for insulating a vehicle, but certainly not worthy of the price tag, even at buy one get one free.
Retail locally is more for 48".
We use it in our RV windows and works well.

That was left rather open ended...sorry.

There are better insulation for walls/ceiling dependent on your needs and local.
As you've noted R factor varies, but that factor in based on how and where its installed per the mfgr specs.
