Doesn't really seem like a good time...

At first, I thought "how terrible" but she is choosing to do this over other choices and seems happy and content with her choice. "Choice" is good. This would be terrible if she hated what she was doing and had no way out, but that is not the case.

She is working three days a week and sleeping in her car two nights.  Doesn't seem so bad.

I'm surprised that the cops and homeowners don't harass her.

One of my spots, ocean beach across from the SF zoo is filled with uber and lyft stickered cars and sleeping drivers everynight. A lot of them are from smaller towns far away and have homes but they come to SF for a few days at a time to make good fares then they return home. I have no idea why so many of them park in the same spot though, I have a feeling there is some online ride share forum where this spot is shared.
